STEP ONE: Double-check that you have the right filter.

Note: You can’t put filter 1 on a refrigerator that uses filter 2 and vice versa.
STEP TWO: Remove your new filter from the box.
- Remove the filter from its packaging.
- Remove the purple cap from the top of the filter and the coverings on the O-rings, but make sure the black O-rings are still in place when doing so.

STEP TWO: Remove the filter from the packaging
- Remove the from the wrapping and packaging.
- Remove the orange cap, but be careful not to remove the two black o-rings in the process.

STEP ONE: Ensure you have the correct filter at hand
- The Everydrop Water Filter 3 has a light blue cap and the stock unit number is EDR3RXD1. It removes 73 different contaminants from water, including chlorine, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, parasites, metals, minerals and industrial chemicals, improving both the taste and odor of your water.
STEP TWO: Remove the filter from its packaging.
- Remove the filter from its packaging.
- Take the blue cap from the top of your filter and remove the O-ring coverings – however avoid getting the two black O-rings caught in the cap while removing it.
STEP THREE: Look in your refrigerator for your filter.
- You will locate the filter housing area on the left-hand side of the fridge’s base grill
STEP FOUR: Remove the old filter.
- Do that by pushing and holding the eject button while drawing the filter cap straight out.

- The Everydrop Water Filter 4 has a green cap and the stock unit number is EDR4RXD1. It removes 31 different contaminants from water, including chlorine, pesticides, parasites, metals, minerals and industrial chemicals.
STEP TWO: Locate your holder.
- The filter housing area for the Everydrop filter 4 is located inside on the upper right-hand corner of your fridge.
- The filter coverings can release in one of two ways: push or pull. If your filter tab is facing outward – push and then pull the cover down, if your filter tab is located on the bottom of the filter cover you will need to pull forward and down on the lever.
- If you are installing the water filter for the first time, you will see a cap.
- Turn the bypass cap to the left and pull straight out; preserve the bypass cap because you will need it to install your filter.

STEP TWO: Remove the filter from the packaging
- Remove the filter from its box.
- Remove the dark blue lid and any coverings on the O-rings, but ensure you don’t interfere with the two O-strings while doing so.

- Remove the ice filter from its box and take the cover from the o-rings.
- Double-check that the O-rings are still in place and there is no debris or dust from the packaging adhering to them.
STEP THREE: Locate ice maker position
- Locate the accessory packet in the ice maker.
- On the right hand side of the ice maker are the controls fir the water filter.
- To release the latch, push in on the door and then lower it.
STEP FOUR: Install your Everydrop ice 2
- Connect the water filter to the filter wrench by utilizing the arrow on the side of the filter pointing to the alignment pin and the arrow within the control housing.
- Insert the filter into the housing after aligning the alignment pin with the cut-out notch.

Note: The ice maker will not produce ice if the filter is not locked correctly into the housing.
How long does the EveryDrop filter last?
